Custom made
Flying V with 70s Gibson humbucking pickups. Maple body with oak
veneer overlay. Curly maple pickguard and an abalone inlay down the
center. Body is timed with a mother of pearl inlay that has yellowed
nicely with age. String through the body construction through a
brass inlay in body. Headstock is custom cut in the same V shape as
the body. Very nice mother of pearl block inlays in the neckand a V
shaped truss rod cover in curly maple. This guitar was originally
made by Rhode Island luthier Michael Allison, with all the cosmetic
additions and inlay work by renowned Rhode Island luthier Mark
