1960's Kay
Vanguard. A tune -o- matic bridge was added , new nut , and
replacement headstock logo and trus rod cover. The volume and tone
knobs are also not original. I do believe the rest of the guitar is
all un- touched and original. Purchased this guitar because when I
was a kid all of my family one after another was handed down a
Vanguard just like this one to start to learn how to play . Me being
the youngest and therefore the last eventually ruined our original one
.I ruined
when I took it apart and painted it with a brush and some left over
red paint from
the cellar. Just thought it would be cool to own another and pay
homage to the start of many guitars I've owned ( and sold since),
and the jump start to a bunch of very successful music cares as well
as a love for playing music that all of my family still shares.
Thanks to my mother and Father for always supporting and encouraging
or music endevours.
